Submit your manuscript to the Georgian Medical Journal
The Georgian Medical Journal (GMJ) welcomes submissions from researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, policymakers, and institutional partners working across all areas of medicine and public health.

1) Before you submit

We recommend reviewing the following pages so your manuscript meets our editorial and ethical standards before you begin the submission wizard:

  • About the Journal — section policies, scope, indexing, and editorial board.
  • Author Guidelines — formatting, reporting standards (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, SQUIRE, ARRIVE, CHEERS), Vancouver references, and ethical requirements.
  • Copyright Notice — open-access licensing under CC BY 4.0 and the rights authors retain.
APC-free submission window. GMJ is currently waiving article processing charges for all accepted manuscripts received through 1 January 2027.

2) How to submit

1. Register or log in. First-time authors must create an account; returning authors can log in directly.
2. Start a new submission. Choose the appropriate section and follow the five-step OJS wizard.
3. Upload manuscript and supplements. Include the reporting checklist, ethics approval (if applicable), and figures as separate files.
4. Confirm metadata, contributors, and declarations. Disclose competing interests, funding, and any AI-tool use.
5. Submit. You will receive an automated acknowledgement and an OJS submission ID.
